In episode 1.07, "Powerless," Detective Reese meets fellow AA member, Rick Larson. There is immediate attraction between the two but Reese is cautious with the man after she hears his revelations during a meeting. The team talks with a woman who runs a web cast in which she criticizes the LAPD. They also meet Nancy Morrison, a woman who was assaulted and decided to rarely get out of her house since then because her attacker was never arrested.
